Job Description:

Land Acquisition Partner is responsible for finding and acquiring land for real estate development projects.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities:
Land Acquisition:

• Identify and secure land for development projects.
• Negotiate land acquisition contracts and ensure contractual terms are complete.

Market Research and Analysis:

• Conduct market research and feasibility reports to determine the viability of land for development.

Financial Planning and Reporting:

• Prepare financial reports including pricing, land analysis, and market research.
• Communicate fees to clients and determine the value of land areas.

Client Communication and Consultation:

• Actively seek potential land acquisition opportunities and provide consultation to clients.
• Design work plans for developers and clients, estimating budgets and costs analysis associated with developing land.

Project Management:

• Oversee all aspects of land acquisition projects.
• Ensure timely completion of tasks and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Travel and Meetings:

• Travel to project areas to research county building and landowner information.
• Coordinate meetings with participating landowners and present background on the company, wind energy basics, and information on wind turbines and farms.

Requirements and Skills:

• Strong working knowledge of solar energy and solar farm operations.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with real estate concepts and geographical knowledge of the work area.
• Ability to travel and hold a valid driver’s license.

Education/Experience:

• Typically a Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
• Real estate license is often preferred or required.
• Experience in land acquisition and management is helpful.
