Job Description:
EverPower Ltd is seeking a highly motivated Project Coordinator to support the development and delivery of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and Solar Farm projects. The successful candidate will work closely with Project Managers and the development team to assist in project planning, market research, stakeholder coordination, and administrative execution across commercial and utility-scale renewable energy projects.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include:
Project Support & Coordination:
- Support Project Managers in the development and execution of BESS and solar farm projects from early-stage development through to construction readiness.
- Coordinate project schedules, deliverables, and documentation across internal teams and external consultants.
- Track project progress and assist in identifying risks, delays, and mitigation actions.
Market Research & Development Support:
- Conduct market research on renewable energy trends, electricity markets, grid capacity, and policy developments.
- Identify potential project opportunities, land availability, and grid connection prospects.
- Support feasibility studies, site screening, and preliminary project assessments.
- Analyse competitor activity and industry benchmarks in the renewable energy sector.
Stakeholder & Communication Support:
- Assist in communication with landowners, consultants, DNO/TSO representatives, and local authorities.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing documents for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support engagement activities with subcontractors, technical advisors, and suppliers.
Documentation & Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain project documentation, data rooms, and filing systems.
- Support preparation of planning submissions, permitting documentation, and compliance records.
- Assist with contract tracking, procurement coordination, and tender documentation where required.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with engineering, legal, procurement, and finance teams.
- Support Project Managers in managing consultants and contractors.
- Assist in tracking budgets, timelines, and key project milestones.
Requirements Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Environmental Science, Energy Management, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, utilities, or project coordination (preferred).
- Strong interest in solar PV, BESS, and clean energy development.
- Experience or understanding of commercial and utility-scale project development lifecycle.
- Strong analytical and research skills, particularly in market and industry analysis.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Irish energy market, planning system, or grid connection processes (an advantage).
- Familiarity with BESS technologies, solar PV systems, or energy trading concepts.
- Experience working with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Asana, or similar).
- Understanding of EPC contracting or renewable energy procurement processes.
